March 10, 2017 // Franchising.com // MINNEAPOLIS – The results are in and Great Clips salons across the U.S. raised over $640,000 to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals during their latest Miracle Balloon campaign. Funds raised will help the 17 million kids who are treated at 170 not-for-profit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals each year.
In addition to selling Miracle Balloons each October, participating Great Clips salons host fundraising events like bake sales and cut-a-thons. Many Great Clips stylists also donate their personal time, visiting member hospitals to cut children’s hair. The sizeable donation is a sign of the commitment of Great Clips salons to work together and rally support within their local communities for the annual campaign.
