Massage Envy Celebrates 15 Years with Focus on Expansion

National franchisor to introduce new services and markets in this milestone year.

March 13, 2017 // Franchising.com // SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - As Massage Envy celebrates 15 years in business and more than 110 million massages, the company plans to further expand body and skin care service offerings in its more than 1,150 franchise locations.

Launching later in the year, Massage Envy will be the first national brand to offer an assisted stretching service as part of their member’s service options. And, the company expanded its skin care offering in 2016,and will continue in 2017 with new advanced skincare options, such as Chemical Peels, featuring PCA Skincare products and Microderm Infusion™, a proprietary service that combines microderm abrasion with precision timed hydaration to deliver an effective skin resurfacing results.

“Massage Envy pioneered the membership model in the wellness space, allowing everyone to make body care part of their regular routine to help them feel their best and do more of the things they love,” said Massage Envy CEO Joe Magnacca. “In the last year, we’ve focused on extending our services to meet consumer needs and to drive growth for our business and that of our franchisees. We’re excited to introduce more of these services, in more markets, during this milestone year.”

Since opening its first location in Scottsdale, Ariz., in 2002, Massage Envy has expanded into 49 states. This year will also mark Massage Envy’s further expansion beyond the U.S., after opening its first international locations in Australia during 2016.
