Marco’s Pizza Announces Strategic Expansion in Billings, Mont.
America’s Favorite Pizza Franchise Looks to Introduce Three Locations by 2020
March 21, 2017 // Franchising.com // Billings, Mont. – Marco’s Pizza, recently recognized as America’s favorite pizza company, is targeting the greater Billings area for growth. The company has announced plans to introduce three locations through strategic franchise partnerships. To kick start development efforts in the new market, Marco’s Pizza’s leadership team is hosting a town hall at 6:30 p.m. on March 30, 2017 at the Double Tree Hotel located at 27 North 27th St.
The new Marco’s Pizza locations will open under the leadership of Area Representative Josh Holdinghausen, a former Billings resident who is eager to share the great taste of Marco’s Pizza with the community. It has always been Holdinghausen’ s dream to have his own restaurant and with Marco’s Pizza, he’s been able to open nine locations with an additional three in development. With an intimate knowledge of the brand and extensive experience in the restaurant industry, Holdinghausen is the ideal leader to drive expansion efforts in this brand-new market.
“This is a great franchisor that is constantly improving its operating and inventory systems to grow sales and become a bigger slice of the pizza industry,” said Holdinghausen. “I’m looking forward to finding local business leaders to bring this growing concept to the community. With their help, pizza lovers throughout Billings will quickly find out that ours is unlike any other pizza franchise out there. Marco’s Pizza is hands-down the best quality and our customer service outmatches the competition.”
While living in Billings with his wife and two children, Holdinghausen managed a Golden Corral which gave him first-hand experience in the local restaurant community. As business in the area continues to boom, Holdinghausen is confident Marco’s Pizza will stand out as a fan favorite. Those who attend the town hall will have an opportunity to meet Holdinghausen in addition to Marco’s Pizza’s Vice President of Franchise Sales and Development, Travis Edmondson, to learn more about ownership opportunities.
“We are still at the ground floor of our development in Billings, making it an exciting expansion region for us,” said Edmondson. “Our development team is poised for success and we’re eager to debut Marco’s to new customers in the area.”
As the only national franchise chain founded by a native Italian, Marco’s Pizza has carved out a niche in the industry as the expert in authentic Italian pizza, known for its fresh never-frozen dough made daily on site, a proprietary cheese blend that is fresh never-frozen and a secret pizza sauce recipe. Focusing on franchisee support, product quality and high regard for vendors and employees, Marco’s Pizza more than doubled in size in less than five years. With plans to open more than 100 new stores in 2017 (averaging one every three days), the company is on track to exceed 900 locations by year’s end.
