Cheena Chandra Joins New Keller Williams Lincoln Park Market Center

Top-producing residential broker specializing in Streeterville expands KW’s Chicago presence.

CHICAGO - March 22, 2017 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Top-producing real estate broker Cheena Chandra is joining the new Keller Williams Lincoln Park Market Center. Chandra was most recently at Related Realty, where she was a broker for three years specializing in high-end residential properties in Streeterville and surrounding Chicago neighborhoods. Chandra previously was a Keller Williams broker in Irvine and Newport Beach, CA.

“Returning to Keller Williams is like coming full circle,” Chandra said. “I started my real estate career at KW in California and have been waiting for the right opportunity to come back to the strongest culture and agent-focused company in real estate, with a belief system that supports all that is important to me in helping my clients.”

Chandra is joining the KW Lincoln Park Market Center relaunched last year under the partnership of Joe Zimmerman, Mary Haight, Tommy Choi, Josh Weinberg and Nicholas Apostal. The KW Lincoln Park leadership team recently opened its new office at 2211 N. Elston Ave. and consolidated their operations to better serve their expanding clientele.

As an individual agent, Chandra had a sales volume of more than $10 million last year. She brings with her a strong referral business, with more than 95 percent of her clients coming to her through her lasting client relationships.

“We are delighted to have someone of Cheena’s caliber, integrity and deep experience join our growing market center,” said Zimmerman. “Her focus on customer service and commitment to the Keller Williams mission make her a superb match for us. A key focus of our combined group will be to attract and support more like-minded agents who share our vision and belief that through training and education offered in our market center, we all will become better agents and offer better service to the people we care about most, our clients.”

“I’ve always believed it’s important for clients to have the right representation when making such a big decision,” Chandra said. “I take a consultative approach and try to educate my clients on the entire process, which can be overwhelming. I want my clients to be excited about their home buying and selling experience.”

“Having Cheena come back to the Keller Williams family is very important to us as we continue to grow our Chicagoland presence,” said John Schumacher, director of the Keller Williams Mid-America region. “Our region attracted over 1,000 agents during the past year - the fastest rate of growth within all of Keller Williams – and those agents increased their closed transactions by 38 percent over the prior year. Our intent is to become the overwhelming real estate company of choice for like-minded agents and our customers through the addition of 16 market centers throughout Chicagoland over the next four years. Cheena’s affiliation confirms that we’re doing the right things, the right way, and we’re so proud that she’s come home.”

Chandra began her real estate career in 2008 and is licensed in Illinois, Wisconsin and Florida. Prior to joining the real estate profession, she spent more than 15 years in management consulting, strategic marketing and business development. She holds a BA in political science and international relations from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. She is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors.
