Hopscotch Receives Praise For Interior Design Awards

April 12, 2017 // Franchising.com // Toronto, Canada - Hopscotch is excited to receive the 2017 Shop! restaurant fast food design silver award for their Scotia Bank Plaza restaurant in Toronto.

Hopscotch is a popular health-conscious fast casual founded on three commitments: better food, better communities, and a better planet. The inspired, modern, and inviting design of the award-winning restaurant reflects sibling founders Wyatt and Aiden Booth’s mission to transform locally sourced, sustainable ingredients into menu items which are not just delicious and nutritious, but also bolster the surrounding community. The brothers make good on this promise by using a percentage of all proceeds to fund healthy eating programs at local public schools.

At the newly opened restaurant, located in Scotia Bank Plaza of the Toronto PATH, breakfast and lunch customers can enjoy fresh smoothies, salads, bowls, and espresso drinks in a comfortable environment of warm and inviting hardwoods, clean white granite counters and surfaces, and modern yet aboriginal inspired artwork. Jump Branding & Designs Inc. developed all store design and visual elements, while all architecture was completed by Mehboob Bangash Architects.

Hopscotch is expanding its award-winning restaurant design and philosophy of creating a better planet and communities through food to new markets throughout Canada and the United States through franchising. Hopscotch has engaged industry leading franchise development firm Fransmart, the company behind the explosive growth of brands like Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Qdoba Mexican Grill, as their exclusive franchise development partner.

The newest Hopscotch location will be opening in Vaughan Mills in the fall of 2017 with an additional 2 other locations opening in downtown Toronto in summer 2017. Hopscotch is currently looking for experienced multi-unit food service operators to develop franchise territories in major markets.
