Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids Opens First Pacific Northwest Salon

Children’s haircut franchise comes to Beaverton

April 27, 2017 // Franchising.com // SALT LAKE CITY – Children’s haircuts can be sheer torture for both parents and kids, but the new Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids, located at 14845 SW Murray Scholls Drive, Suite 108, hopes to alleviate some of that stress.

“We’re excited to introduce the Cookie Cutters brand to the Greater Portland Area,” said Ron Brown, who owns and operates the salon with his wife, Brenda. “It has always been a dream of ours to open our own business. And as grandparents, we’re excited to own a business that provides a stress-free children’s haircut experience.”

Ron and Brenda Brown’s new Cookie Cutters salon is the first location in the Greater Portland Area. The husband and wife duo have already committed to opening two additional locations in the area over the next few years. Prior to owning a Cookie Cutters salon, Brenda worked for the United States Postal Service. Ron is currently a certified corporate training in the diesel engine industry. Both Ron and Brenda are excited to begin this new business venture together.

“Cookie Cutters fits a simple niche and fulfills a basic need of providing all children, including those with special needs or sensory issues, with a good haircut that is done in a comfortable setting and on trend,” said Brenda.

For more than 20 years, Cookie Cutters has offered an interactive haircut experience that both children and parents won’t soon forget. Upon entering the salons, neon lights lead children to an in-store playground where they can climb and slide. Come time for the haircut, each station on the cutting floor is outfitted with unique fantasy chairs – from race cars to motorcycles, firetrucks to airplanes – as well as televisions for the kids to watch shows or play video games. With a balloon, sucker and a smile at the end of each haircut, the Cookie Cutters experience is designed to keep children coming back again and again.

Cookie Cutters of Beaverton is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information or to book an appointment, please call (503) 746-7955.
