April 27, 2017 // Franchising.com // A year ago Make Believe started it’s first overseas adventure now giving it the name of Make Believe Worldwide Ltd. One year on and Make Believe Sydney is a roaring success with the school running every Saturday for children aged 3-18. Along with that the Sydney branch also runs a Make Believe Munchkins School every Tuesday for 3-5 year olds.

About Make Believe

Founded by Joel Kern in 2004 Make Believe have schools in and around London, Australia and most recently Manchester, teaching youngsters the basic skills in the performing arts. Kern, who started Make Believe aged 15 by teaching five students to sing, dance and act, has seen the company grow into one of the most exciting performing arts companies with around 3500 children enjoying the after-school classes on a weekly basis. And with a raft of talent coming out of the Make Believe Talent Agency (including youngsters landing roles in West end Musicals, TV shows and adverts) the future is looking very bright for the Ilford-based producer who won the Federation of Small Business Young Entrepreneur of the year for South East England award.

Make Believe continues to grow throughout the UK and is looking to expand further. It is the perfect job for anyone looking to open their own theatre school, work flexible hours and still have fantastic support from head office.

Make Believe Sydney runs on Saturday mornings 10am-1pm Sydney Secondary College Balmain Campus – 25 to 33 Terry St, Rozelle NSW 2039.
