Bar Louie Hosts One-Day Fundraiser To Benefit The Children's Heart Foundation

20 Percent of Proceeds at Participating Midwest Bar Louie Locations to Be Donated to Help Support Congenital Heart Research Funding on Weds., May 3rd

ADDISON, Texas - May 1, 2017 // PRNewswire // - Today, Bar Louie announced it is hosting a special 'Louie Loves' fundraiser for The Children's Heart Foundation in select Bar Louie locations across the Midwest.

On Wednesday, May 3rd, anytime a patron eating or drinking at select Bar Louie locations in Illinois, Missouri and Iowa mentions The Children's Heart Foundation, 20 percent of proceeds from their meals will benefit the organization.

"The Children's Heart Foundation is an incredibly important organization helping save children's lives," said Bar Louie CEO John Neitzel. "Their cause is near and dear to our employees and staff - and we're pleased to help raise funds for important and promising research."

Congenital heart defects (CHD) are America's #1 birth defect. Approximately 25 percent of children born with CHD will need heart surgery or other interventions to survive, and children with CHD may face life-long risks of health problems.

As the country's leading organization solely committed to CHD research funding, the Children's Heart Foundation dedicates itself to advancing the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of CHD.
