Bruegger’s Bagels Looks To Farmers Markets For Seasonal Menu Inspiration

Summer Offerings Include Flavors Of Avocados, Peaches, Blueberries, Tomatoes And Basil

June 15, 2017 // Franchising.com // DALLAS - Bruegger’s Bagels, known for its authentic New York-style bagels and signature egg sandwiches, has launched its new summer menu featuring the fresh flavors of the season in new and returning items.

The Pretz Mex features spicy guacamole with a seasoned fresh-cracked egg, peppered bacon and Swiss cheese on a Pretzel Bagel. Its fresh, inventive flavors make it perfect to enjoy at breakfast or any time of day.

Peach preserves put the sweet in the Sweet Georgia Turkey sandwich. Serving up the best of summer, it’s made with roasted turkey, Muenster cheese, perfectly seasoned tomatoes and spicy peach preserves on butter-toasted tomato basil bread.

The summer theme continues with returning Bruegger’s Bagels favorites. Coconut coffee offers a delicate taste of the tropics and is available hot or refreshingly iced. Whipped Blueberry Greek Cream Cheese & Greek Yogurt combines the tangy flavor of Greek yogurt with protein-rich, lower-fat Greek cream cheese and real blueberries to create a light, delicious complement to any of the bakery’s kettle-cooked bagel varieties.

“We have taken inspiration from foods you’d find while strolling through a farmers market on a summer morning to create our latest seasonal menu,” said Bruegger’s Bagels Vice President of Marketing Judy Kadylak. “Summer gives us the opportunity to incorporate those fresh, seasonal flavors into our menu alongside the classics that our guests love.”

The summer menu will be available through Sept. 12 at participating Bruegger’s Bagels locations.
