Bring Your Own Celery: Doc Popcorn Launches Limited-Time Hot Wings ‘n’ Bleu Flavor

World’s Largest Popcorn Franchise Retailer Heats Up Summertime with New Buffalo Wing Flavor

July 06, 2017 // Franchising.com // DENVER - As the weather heats up, the popcorn does too. Doc Popcorn, the world’s largest fresh-popped popcorn franchise retailer, introduces a new limited batch flavor, Hot Wings ‘n’ Bleu. The new flavor is available now at participating Doc Popcorn locations nationwide and online through Sunday, August 13.

Inspired by the All-American classic flavor, the new Hot Wings ‘n’ Bleu popcorn offers guests a sizzling treat to enjoy in the summer heat. With the kick of hot wings and the cooling creaminess of blue cheese, Hot Wings ‘n’ Bleu is a succulent addition to the menu as a seasonal offering. The new flavor can be mixed and matched with Doc Popcorn classic flavors, such as Hoppin’ Jalapeño for a spicier variety or Cheesy Cheddar to cool it down.

“Buffalo wings are an American staple. By pairing the buffalo heat with the crunch of popcorn and cooling blue cheese, we’ve created a snack with the flavor of hot wings but without the mess or guilt,” said Rob Israel, founder of Doc Popcorn and ‘Big Pop.’ “We’re excited to introduce this spicy, kickin’ flavor for a limited time on our menu to give customers some heat as we head into the summertime. The only thing missing is the celery!”

As a better-for-you snacking option, Doc Popcorn creates its own proprietary flavor blends using high quality ingredients free of trans fat, MSG, artificial colors and preservatives. Gourmet popcorn flavors include Klassic Kettle, Sinfully Cinnamon, Triple White Cheddar, Sweet Butter™, Cheesy Cheddar, Better Butter, Caramel Bliss®, Hoppin’ Jalapeño and Salt-n-Pepper. Flavor mixes are also customized by customers to create their own personalized tasty treat. Flavors vary by season and location.

Doc Popcorn has more than 100 mobile carts, kiosks and in-line stores around the world. For more information about Doc Popcorn, including franchise opportunities, visit www.docpopcorn.com.
