Palm Beach Tan Announces Winner Of “Snatched” Sweepstakes

Mobile, Alabama Resident Wins Four-day Trip for Two to Ecuador

July 11, 2017 // Franchising.com // DALLAS, Texas - Palm Beach Tan, the nation’s largest indoor tanning provider, today announced the winner of its Snatched sweepstakes, held in conjunction with Twentieth Century Fox to promote the film starring Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn. Elizabeth Blanks of Mobile, Alabama, was randomly selected from more than 450,000 entries to win the luxury vacation to Ecuador, where Snatched takes place.

“This collaboration with Twentieth Century Fox was a first-of-its-kind promotion for Palm Beach Tan, and we’re thrilled that thousands of customers across the country enthusiastically supported the promotion,” said Diane Lucas, President and CEO of Palm Beach Tan. “We look forward to continuing to provide our customers with unique, engaging content and opportunities.”

The sweepstakes was part of a multi-tiered marketing partnership between Palm Beach Tan and Twentieth Century Fox to promote Snatched, which opened in theaters nationwide on May 12th. Palm Beach Tan promoted the sweepstakes via in-store point-of-purchase materials, national radio and Pandora spots, its website, e-mails to customers, and its social media channels. Customers could enter the sweepstakes online daily as well as in-person at their local Palm Beach Tan store from April 10th through May 31st.

The grand prize includes: roundtrip airfare for two to Quito, Ecuador; four days and three nights at a luxury hacienda in the mountain foothills of Quito with full access to the resort’s state-of-the-art spa facilities; and an exclusive full-day private tour with an expert guide into the Mindo Cloud Forest, where guests will experience a thrilling zip line ride and once-in-a-lifetime tubing trip through the jungle canopy and river. The prize is valued at $4,995 USD.
