HomeVestors® Welcomes 46 New Franchises During Second Quarter

“We Buy Ugly Houses®” Brand Continues Record Growth Nationally

July 24, 2017 // Franchising.com // DALLAS - HomeVestors of America sustained its record pace of growth during the second quarter 2017, welcoming 46 new franchises to the “We Buy Ugly Houses” company. In addition to opening a new market in Tyler/Longview, Tex., HomeVestors expanded its presence in 34 markets, including Atlanta, the Bay Area, Long Island, Orlando and Los Angeles, among others.

“New franchises continued to join our ranks through the second quarter, which will help us carry on our long-standing tradition of excellence in transforming neighborhoods one house at a time,” said David Hicks, HomeVestors co-president. “Given the strength of the real estate market, we’re seeing a record number of homeowners looking to sell. The more franchises we have, the more able we are to offer fast, cash offers to individuals looking for a quick and sound way out of an ugly situation with their property.”

Operating in 145 markets nationally, HomeVestors is the largest professional house buying franchise in the U.S. After joining, HomeVestors franchises go through extensive training at UG University in Dallas, including best practices and ethical consumer relations, before operating in the field.

“We set a high bar on business excellence for the franchises representing our company across America,” added Hicks. “Our brand pioneered and set the standard for this segment, and we now have a proven two-decade record for our business model, even as imposters flood the market. It’s always a pleasure to welcome new business owners that will benefit from our commitment to their success.”

HomeVestors began franchising two decades ago in 1996, and recently purchased its 75,000th house. Through its individually owned and operated franchises, the original “We Buy Ugly Houses®” company purchases approximately 8,000 homes each year.
