Eilidh McCole – MB Talent Agent Success

September 05, 2017 // Franchising.com // Make Believe Worldwide Ltd have seen an increase of children securing professional jobs and attending auditions in the industry, since Senior Talent Agent Eilidh McCole joined over a year and a half ago.

Eilidh moved to London 3 years ago from her hometown of East Kilbride Scotland, to fulfill her dream of being a professional performer. At only 20 years old and just enough money for 1 months’ rent, she had signed with a London agent after graduating from Motherwell College (Now New College Lanarkshire) and was ready for the big wide world of performing.

Eilidh was lucky enough to secure jobs on well know TV programmes such as Waterloo Road and River City and even a Scottish Labour Party Political broadcast. At the age of 18 she landed a big brand advert for Cadbury’s Dairy Milk where she got to sing and act, showcasing both of her skills.

Now living in Borehamwood (right next to Elstree studios), she had worked in London cocktail bars and promo jobs to keep working to pay the rent. It was at a promo job for the Make Believe Edgware school that she met the founder of Make Believe, Joel Kern and after making a great impression, a few weeks later Joel called Eilidh asking if she would like to interview for the agency position.

Eilidh said: “It was a direction I had to follow. I truly believe it was fate saying this is the road you need to take now!”

Since Eilidh joined she has had an eye for talent and has secured children jobs in music videos, big brand adverts and her proudest moment to date, a Hollywood feature film directed by Ridley Scott!

Eilidh said: “I think I cried with happiness when I found out he had got the job, it was such a shock to everyone and such a super exciting time!”

Eilidh would still like to be working for Make Believe in 10 years time and perhaps oversee other agents for the company as well as aiming to land long-term TV roles for children and put MB Talent at the top of the list for London kids agencies!
