CycleBar® to Host 'We Ride as One" Charity Rides for Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

Premium Indoor Cycling Franchise Sets Fundraising Goal at $100,000

CINCINNATI - Sept. 11, 2017 // PRNewswire // - In the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, CycleBar will host charity rides at its nearly 100 studios throughout the next few weeks in order to raise donations to benefit the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. In addition, CycleBar will be selling "We Ride with Texas" shirts and hats, providing its studios and communities with multiple ways to give back in an impactful way.

Beginning September 6, more than 90 studios across the country will participate in the fundraising events. Depending on the studio, riders will be given the chance to pledge a dollar amount per mile rode for a specific period of time or will be granted a free ride in exchange for a donation. Shirts and hats will be sold for $20 each, and a portion of the profits will be donated. Between the funds raised through the charity rides and merchandise sales, CycleBar aims to raise a total of $100,000 for hurricane relief efforts.

"There is truly no limit to how much someone can give to those in need, and at CycleBar, we've witnessed the power of coming together to benefit our communities more times than we can count," said Heather Harris, president of CycleBar. "The wonderful thing about our studios is that they provide us with a platform to bring people together quickly to fundraise in times of need, and we pledge to do all we can in order help our friends and family in Texas get back on their feet."

In an effort to provide boots-on-the-ground support in addition to the nationwide fundraising rides, CycleBar staff in Vintage Park have pledged to donate 100 percent of the proceeds from their fundraising rides to YesPrep!, where around 85 percent of attending students qualify for food stamps and/or assisted lunch programs. With many of the children having nowhere to turn for their basic needs, CycleBar Vintage Park will aid YesPrep!, which is helping these families by donating gift cards for clothes, mattresses, blankets, water, food, etc. to directly benefit YesPrep! children and families as Houston rebuilds.
