Fleet Clean Celebrates Truck Driver Appreciation Week With Las Vegas Trip Giveaway

Mobile truck washing franchise awards three drivers from local businesses with trips of a lifetime

MELBOURNE, Fla. - Sept. 15, 2017 // PRNewswire // - To celebrate National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (September 10-16), Fleet Clean announced today it has selected three drivers from its local business partners as the recipients of an all-inclusive trip for two to Las Vegas on future dates to be determined.

Nominated by representatives from each company, the winners of the giveaway are Alan Hale (K.L. Breeden & Sons - Daytona Beach, Fla.), Ken McNemee (Gary Amoth Trucking - Twin Falls, Idaho) and Benny Pugh (Reinhart Foodservice - Johnson City, Tenn.).

"We wanted to do something a little different for Truck Driver Appreciation Week this year, and what better way than to give these three drivers a break from their busy lives than a getaway to one of America's most famous hotspots," said Scott Marr, CEO and Founder of Fleet Clean. "We are thrilled to give Ken, Alan and Benny this chance and thank them wholeheartedly for their years of hard work and dedication."

McNemee, Hale and Pugh are all veterans of the trucking industry and each have inspired both their companies and Fleet Clean over the course of their years of service.

Alan Hale, the 2015 Truck Driver of the Year for K.L. Breeden & Sons, has been driving a commercial vehicle for more than 30 years, landing his first position in 1986. A resident of Belleview, Fla., Hale and his wife, Missy, have been married for nearly 27 years and have four children. In 1999, the family suffered a devastating house fire that engulfed the entire property in flames. Displaced for months, Hale and his family have had the chore of rebuilding their home on the same property for most of their years, all while he continued to work tirelessly for the Daytona Beach trucking company. Today, Hale and Missy have several grandchildren and he makes a concerted effort to safely deliver products to people all across Tallahassee, Fla., on a daily basis.

Ken McNemee has worked with Gary Amoth Trucking since September 2002, recently celebrating his 15th anniversary with the company. One of Gary Amoth's longest tenured employees, McNemee is an asset to the company and takes pride in mentoring younger truck drivers and helping them learn the tricks of the trade, all while working countless hours to get a job done. McNemee was diagnosed with stage four cancer three years ago and was forced to endure rigorous chemotherapy and radiation treatments. While continuing his fight against cancer, McNemee was forced to miss some time at work but returned with a vengeance when he was deemed healthy enough to work again. Today, McNemee is still fighting cancer every hour of the day and works as much as he can around his treatments. He remains one of the most committed, dedicated, selfless drivers in the Gary Amoth Trucking system.

Benny Pugh is the longest tenured driver at the Johnson City Reinhart Foodservice operation, first signing on with the company in October 1985. A well-respected driver around the company, both with executives and with his peers, Pugh mentors younger drivers and serves as an inspiration to many within the company for his unbridled dedication to the business that he has called home for more than three decades. Recently sidelined with a medical condition, Pugh remains committed to his craft and works tirelessly to improve service deliver goods all across Tennessee and beyond.

"We could not be more thankful for Fleet Clean and what they are doing for our amazing drivers," Aaron Rice (Reinhart Foodservice), David Whaley (Gary Amoth Trucking) and Kevin Bartley (K.L. Breeden & Sons) said in a joint statement. "Alan, Ken and Benny are inspiring individuals who deserve nothing but the best in this world. This trip to Las Vegas is a small thank you for their years of dedication and service."

The Melbourne, Florida-based Fleet Clean operation will cover all expenses of the trips to Las Vegas, including hotel, flight and food accommodation. For more information on the mobile trucking washing company, visit www.FleetCleanUSA.com.
