Tutor Doctor Names Scott Thompson New VP of Global Franchise Development
Franchise Industry Veteran Set to Push Private Tutoring Franchise to New Worldwide Heights
September 19, 2017 // Franchising.com // VAN NUYS, Calif. – Seeking to increase its presence in communities all over the world, Tutor Doctor has hired Scott Thompson to serve as the company’s new Vice President of Global Franchise Development.
A 16-year veteran of the franchising industry, Thompson joins the fastest-growing private in-home tutoring franchise on the heels of a four-year stint as the VP of Franchise Development for Premium Franchise Brands, where he oversaw the development of cleaning companies JAN-PRO and Maid Right. Throughout his trek within the franchising sector, Thompson has also held development roles with WellBiz Brands, Inc. and Desjoyaux Pools, spearheading the France-based pool company’s expansion plans in the United States.

Tutor Doctor currently operates in more than 500 territories across 16 countries, serving more than 270,000 students in those regions.
Most recently, Tutor Doctor has seen rapid growth in the United States by expanding its territories in both Chicago and Philadelphia, with a further international push slated for the United Kingdom, Australia and Latin America.
