Pumpkin Pancakes Are Back On The Menu

Sunny Street Café Unveils Fall Specials

September 20, 2017 // Franchising.com // COLUMBUS, OHIO - Sunny Street Café’s most popular seasonal menu item, Pumpkin Pancakes, are now back on the menu for their eighth year in a row. Along with the famous stack of pancakes comes a complete Fall seasonal menu, featuring new chef - driven dishes. “The excitement leading up to the release of Pumpkin Spice Pancakes is contagious,” says Mike Stasko, VP of Brand Strategy for Sunny Street Café. “People are always asking when they’ll be able to order them. We are building off this excitement by offering a more robust Fall specials menu.”

Using a special made - from - scratch pumpkin spice batter, the Pumpkin Pancakes are cooked to a golden, fluffy perfection, then topped with homemade cinnamon butter and a tres leches drizzle. “The recipe is truly delicious,” Stasko said. “When Autumn comes around people are ready for a hot stack of pancakes, and when you add pumpkin they become the perfect Fall breakfast.”

Three additional items accompany the famous Pumpkin Pancakes. Mulled Hot Apple Cider pairs perfectly with a made - from - scratch Pumpkin Crumb Muffins. A warming Butternut Squash Soup rounds out the menu with a savory option. A hint of chipotle highlights the natural sweetness of the squash and gives the soup a full - bodied flavor.
