Massage Envy franchise network, America's number one skin care service provider, adds best-in-class microderm infusion and chemical peel treatments; expands retail product offerings with leading skincare brands.
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Oct. 10, 2017 // PRNewswire // - As consumers embrace healthy skin as part of their well-being journey, demand for preventive skincare options is on the rise. Massage Envy, whose franchise network collectively provides more skincare services than any other service provider in the U.S., is expanding its skincare service lineup with two new professional-grade treatments: a microderm infusion service and new chemical peel treatments. Through its membership model and partnerships with leading skincare brands like PCA Skin® and Murad, Massage Envy is making it easier for consumers to make personalized, advanced skincare part of a regular regimen.
"Preventive skincare isn't a one-and-done activity. It requires a variety of preventative and maintenance services, so our skincare services are a great fit for Massage Envy's core consumer and the brand's membership model," said Massage Envy CEO Joe Magnacca. "Our expanded offering makes highly advanced skincare accessible, so consumers can easily add it to their beauty and wellness routine."
Among the new lineup of skincare services is a selection of chemical peels from PCA Skin®, an innovator of dermatological peels. The treatments, which until now were available only through dermatologists and in high-end medispas, use unique, advanced ingredients to help increase cell turnover and encourage the shedding of dead skin cells. PCA Skin® peels require minimal downtime and can help reverse the signs of aging, and treat acne and hyperpigmentation. Each treatment includes a home-care kit with PCA Skin® products. The microderm infusion treatment, available exclusively at Massage Envy franchise locations, uses technology that holds 16 patents and combines the exfoliation and extraction benefits of microdermabrasion with infusing corrective and hydrating serum directly into the skin.
Beyond these latest skincare offerings, additional skincare services are being tested and Massage Envy will continue to expand its retail skin products, including the brand's own line of face sheet masks and hydrating eye gels, which are anticipated to be available early next year.
"We're listening to consumers and expanding the menu of skincare services and products with the best-in-class ingredients and skincare technologies, accessible in more than 1,180 franchised locations," said Magnacca.
The new skincare products and services are the latest example of Massage Envy's focus on expanding Total Body Care services. In July, Massage Envy launched its signature assisted stretch program, Total Body Stretch, featuring its proprietary Streto Method.
Massage Envy, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, is a national franchisor and, through its franchise locations, is the leading provider of therapeutic massage and skincare services, and proprietary assisted stretching service, Total Body Stretch. The Massage Envy franchise system is, collectively, the largest employer of massage therapists and estheticians, with more than 35,000 dedicated wellness professionals that provide best-in-class service to over 1.65 million members. Founded in 2002, Massage Envy has more than 1,180 franchise locations in 49 states that have together delivered more than 100 million massages and facials.
