The brand has grown nationally to 100 locations in just five years of franchising the full-service premium salon concept specializing in an elevated experience for men’s hair styling and grooming. Griff’s Shave Bar is rooted in the traditional barbershop experience while appealing to the modern man. Griff’s Shave Bar gets its name from the Griff’s product line sold exclusively at 18|8 salons nationwide. The proprietary water-based haircare and shave products are made from the finest ingredients and include mustache wax, aftershave, post-shave balm, shaving cream, shave prep, pomades and scalp conditioner.

A corporately-owned location of Griff’s Shave Bar is currently operating in Irvine, California. The brand is focusing on expansion in contiguous locations where there are clusters of 18|8 Fine Men’s Salons, through franchising and company-owned stores. The total initial investment to open a Griff’s Ace Barbers & Shave Bar ranges from $219,055 - $375,343 and is optimized with smaller footprints of 600 - 1,100 square feet. Franchisees are not required to have a haircare background, but rather business acumen, and terrific people skills, and a desire to further the brand’s mission to help men transform themselves to look, feel, and perform their best.
