November 08, 2017 // Franchising.com // Fairfax, Va. – Firenza Pizza, a burgeoning franchise touting “Pizza Like Never Before,” is set to open its newest restaurant in Hurst, Texas.
Located in the Mayfair Village shopping center at 724 Grapevine Highway, the new restaurant specializes in hand-crafted, made-to-order pizza and will celebrate its grand opening November 14-19 by offering any pizza at half price. In addition, Firenza will donate $2 from every pizza sold to the Longhorn Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Tarrant County Alliance for Children.
Firenza will also hold a drawing to reward 30 customers with a year’s supply of free pizza. The lucky winners will receive one 10-inch pizza per week for 52 weeks.
“The Dallas area is experiencing an explosion of fast-casual concepts and we are extremely excited to get in on the action,” said James Sanford, who will run the daily operations of the new restaurant. “We’re confident that the Hurst community will be blown away by Firenza’s quality products, speed of service and level of customization.”
Firenza specializes in truly hand crafted and made-to-order pizzas that can be customized with nearly 40 fresh toppings including house roasted garlic, creamy mozzarella ovalini and lean grilled steak. For those customers who don’t want to create their pizzas from scratch, Firenza also offers eight chef-inspired signature pies ranging from the Pizza Vegetariana loaded with healthy vegetables to the Big Kahuna featuring smoked ham, bacon and tropical pineapple. Once the 10-inch pizzas are assembled, they’re baked in an open flame stone-hearth oven and guaranteed to be done within five minutes.
The cost of a simple cheese pizza is $5.99. Each topping is $.70. Signature pizzas start at $7.99.
While convenience and price are important selling points, the priority for Firenza is phenomenal pizza. “Unlike most other fast casual pizza chains where the crusts are premade and machine-pressed, our pizza dough is made in house daily and hand-stretched to order right in front of the customers,” Sanford said.
In addition to pizza, the restaurant offers diners customizable salads, oven baked wings, homestyle meatballs, breadsticks and more.
Restaurant hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday through Saturday.
