November 13, 2017 // Franchising.com // GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. - A spirited four-day gathering of Homewatch CareGivers franchisees and their staff recently concluded and demonstrated the solidarity that lives within the company at every level. The 2017 Homewatch CareGivers Annual Conference, titled “The Value of Outcomes,” brought the entire organization together to celebrate the brand’s system wide integrity, partnership, and compassion, as well the past year of successes. Also key to the gathering, Homewatch CareGivers hosted several presentations on a shared vision for the future, which includes reporting health outcomes.

This year’s event featured new and exciting details about the late-summer Authority Brands acquisition of Homewatch CareGivers. The new relationship with Authority Brands, a portfolio company of PNC Riverarch Capital and the parent company to leading franchise brand The Cleaning Authority, insures that Homewatch CareGivers is set to remain atop its field. Showcased at the conference, the infusion of Authority Brands capital has already put into motion a fresh website strategy that will better align each franchise office’s local online presence with the territory it serves through enhanced SEO performance. The impact will strengthen the awareness and relationships Homewatch CareGivers has with its referral partners, caregiver employees, the families served and all connections within the care continuum.

The conference also featured a series of presentations and panel discussions about the highly anticipated release of Homewatch CareGivers Care+, the advanced and proprietary client and caregiver web-based management system. Several franchise owners have already adopted the platform and shared why it creates a competitive advantage as a “high touch meets high tech” innovation. The efficiencies achieved were emphasized throughout the conference.

In order to truly celebrate the past and create a vision for the future, Homewatch CareGivers hosted an inspiring keynote speaker, Troy Hazard. The accomplished entrepreneur, author and television host confronted the roadblocks ambitious business owners face and examined how to break through those and sail beyond one’s own expectations while serving clients with meaningful purpose.
The most emotional portion of the gathering was the awards dinner. Homewatch CareGivers bestowed honors on top-performing franchise partners for sales and superior operations over the past 12 months.
Among the honorary awards, the most prominent is the “Founders Award,” which Lori Mrgrdichian, franchise owner of four offices in two states, earned this year (she also won the “Marketing MVP Award”). The Founder’s award recognizes the Homewatch CareGivers franchise partner that follows the same vision as company founder Paul Sauer who always followed the credo: “Caregivers are the Heart of the Business”
