Namaste | Nail Sanctuary Announces National Franchise Opportunity

Women’s nail and meditation sanctuary brings relaxation and rejuvenation to markets nationwide with over 500 awarded licenses.

December 06, 2017 // Franchising.com // STUDIO CITY, CALIF. – Namaste | Nail Sanctuary, a sanctuary for women that combines the necessity of nail salon services with the life changing benefits of meditation, relaxation, and rejuvenation, has announced its nationwide franchise opportunity as the first-and-only nail sanctuary with a meditation-focus. Already gaining incredible growth momentum, the brand has licenses awarded to Area Representatives to bring 566 sanctuaries to markets across the country. The strong franchise development efforts are part of the company’s overarching goal to have 100 locations open and operating by 2021.

The first flagship location is slated to open in Studio City on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles County, January 2018. Expansion will continue with the development of more than 500 locations across 14 states as part of the nine Area Representative multi-unit agreements already awarded. Receiving impressive reception prior to its opening, Namaste| Nail Sanctuary is making a name for itself in the industry by disrupting the saturated health and wellness space with innovative service offerings.

Through walk-ins and optional membership programs ranging from $50-$120 a month, customers can receive their routine mani-pedi while doing something that improves their health and their lives: meditation. With a mission to create a nail sanctuary that’s an optimal environment for meditation, relaxation and rejuvenation, guests are to expect Zen architecture, stone fountains, serene colors, live walls, soft lighting, relaxing audio, ultra-comfortable custom seating, privacy draping, personal flat screen TVs, and BOSE noise-cancelling headphones – all combined with ultra-hygienic nail care services and clean business practices.

Additionally, guests will have the option to use MUSE headbands - a brain sensing headband that uses weather sounds to help guide you to a calm mind, and Deepak Chopra Dream Masters – audio and visual programming which use light and sound pulses at specified frequencies to help the user relax quickly and reach a variety of beneficial states of consciousness, and a Cocoon room – a dedicated mediation space for guests to continue their state of relaxation.

“Our goal for Namaste Nail Sanctuary is to create a place where women are able to take time to relax and de-stress,” said Mecca Elliot, co-founder of Namaste | Nail Sanctuary. “Meditation is a health-minded priority we need to incorporate in our lives – our sanctuaries give women more opportunities to focus on mind, body, and nails.”

Namaste | Nails Sanctuary was founded by serial entrepreneur, Michael Elliot and his wife Mecca Elliot when they realized nail salons don’t live up to the relaxing stigma associated with the services. As the CEO and founder of Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop for Guys, Michael is no stranger to the industry and is sure to flourish alongside Mecca, a certified meditation instructor and a self-healing coach who studied under the renowned Deepak Chopra.

“With over $8.5 billion spent on nail services last year, we are building a brand that will defy and disrupt the industry,” said Michael Elliot. “Our fast-paced, ‘always on’ culture has us constantly connected, crowding our brains and leaving us burnt out. A meditation, relaxation, and rejuvenation-focused nail sanctuary is on-trend and more relevant now than ever before. We are confident we will flourish as we continue to grow through strategic franchise partnerships and debut our unique services to communities across the nation.”
