NPI/GPI Celebrates Thirtieth Anniversary with Distinguished Guest Speakers at 2017 Annual Conference

Industry experts held seminars on the latest trends and technologies.

December 08, 2017 // Franchising.com // Omaha, Neb. - National Property Inspections, Inc., parent company of National Property Inspections in the United States and Global Property Inspections in Canada, hosted six distinguished guest speakers at their 2017 Annual Conference honoring the organization’s thirtieth anniversary.

The 2017 Annual Conference, held November 9, 10, and 11 at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Omaha, is the Midwest’s only home inspection conference. Franchisees from across the United States and Canada attended, as well as their spouses and employees.

The theme of this year’s conference was “Growing Your Business.” Presenters included home inspection industry experts Dan Huber of Inspector Support Network, Paul Zak of America’s Call Center, P. Nathan Thornberry of The Inspector Services Group, Jack Huntress of HomeBinder, Wally Glaser of Breckenridge Insurance Services and Gary Carpenter of Master Real Estate Academy. NPI franchisee, Chris Scherf and NPI marketing coach, Kimberly Haller-Stevens also held sessions.

Each class offered an exciting look at industry trends, such as the latest advances in client lead acquisition, inspection warranty offerings, call center services and insurance coverage. Franchisees also attended classes on marketing to real estate agents and on commercial roofing inspection.

“The 2017 speakers and vendors represent the best of the best in the home inspection industry,” said Roland Bates, president of National Property Inspections, Inc. “With this year’s emphasis on marketing, client satisfaction and business growth, we were all able to walk away with some great strategies to implement immediately. I feel that our 30th anniversary conference was truly the best we’ve had yet.”

In addition to two and a half days of class sessions, franchisees enjoyed the annual NPI awards banquet. NPI handed out achievement awards to 37 franchisees and inducted Bob McDonough and Ron Griffith into the NPI Hall of Fame. Franchise retiree, Michael Oberacker, was honored for his more than 20 years of service as an NPI home inspector.

Of the winners, NPI marketing coach, Kimberly Haller-Stevens says, “Each year at National Property Inspections, Inc., we review each franchisee’s percentage of business growth and their profit margins for the year. We also give consideration to their rural or urban territory and their marketing efforts to determine those deserving awards. These awards are the highlight of each conference and since this year was our 30th anniversary it was heartwarming to recognize our top franchise owners for their incredible hard work!”
