December 27, 2017 // Franchising.com // PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Dog Stop - an award-winning, all-inclusive indoor/outdoor dog care facility - has opened its newest location in Middletown.
Located in Bunker Hill Centre at 108 Sleepy Hollow Drive, the new 10,000-square-foot facility offers daycare, boarding, grooming, obedience training, in-home services, dog walking, and a retail store.
It is the company’s second Delaware location. A facility opened in Wilmington in 2015.
“We know just how difficult it can be to leave your best friend when it’s time to go to work, on vacation, or if an emergency pops up. Our trained canine companions are here to help,” said Jim Henry, franchise owner of the new facility. “Our goal is to create a fun and safe environment where dogs love to come and play, and pet owners feel 100 percent confident in the superior care that their dogs are receiving.”
The Dog Stop’s clean, safe, 100% climate controlled indoor/outdoor facility includes 50 kennels and three extra-large suites for overnight boarding, interactive and social daycare space for up to 95 dogs, a spa-like grooming retreat, and a retail store featuring premium dog food, treats, toys and accessories. Other features include separate and secure play areas for dogs of all sizes and energy levels, including a 2,000-square-foot outdoor space with special anti-microbial?turf "grass".
“Our facility caters to letting dogs do what they do - whether it’s playing with friends, running and obstacle course, or just lounging around,” said Henry. “Pups who enjoy daily playtime and physical activity are better adjusted, less stressed, healthier and happier - so we focus on lots of exercise and playtime for every pup.”
The Dog Stop of Middletown is open Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
