Local Educator Joins World's Largest Education Franchise by Opening New Learning Center in Greater Dallas

Entrepreneur Brings Passion for Education to Community of Rockwall

TEANECK, N.J. - Jan. 10, 2018 // PRNewswire // - After seeing the success her own two sons had in the Kumon Math and Reading Program, Nikita Patel decided to join the world's largest after-school education franchise by opening her own Kumon Center in Rockwall, Texas.

Thousands of additional parents in Greater Dallas will now have access to an individualized learning program for their preschool to high school aged children. Kumon goes beyond traditional tutoring by actively developing critical thinking skills as children progress independently through a carefully crafted math and reading curriculum.

"As a local elementary educator for the past four years, I've developed a passion for helping children learn," said Patel, owner and Instructor of Kumon Math and Reading Center of Rockwall. Kumon has a massive presence in Texas with 143 centers across the state, including 40 in Greater Dallas. This will be the first center to open in Rockwall and is part of Kumon's 2018 expansion plan of welcoming 100 new franchisees nationwide.
