Established in 2000, Camp Bow Wow has grown to more than 140 franchises, with more than 40 in the development/opening process.

In 2017, Camp Bow Wow introduced a 10% Public Protectors discount off its Initial Franchisee Fee. This new offering applies to any potential Camp owners who have worked at least two consecutive years as a firefighter, law enforcement officer or paramedic.

In September 2017, the brand launched its nationwide #GiveAFetch campaign to highlight and celebrate the way communities across the country “give a fetch” about their pets. Through this initiative, Camp Bow Wow donated $50,000 to participating shelters, facilitated the adoption of 58 dogs and awarded various attendees free Camp services.

Camp Bow Wow has nonprofit called the Bow Wow Buddied Foundation dedicated to awarding grants of up to $2,500 to cover the cost of unplanned, necessary medical care for dogs in need. In 2017, the Foundation raised over $125,000.
