The Future of Dry Cleaning comes to Nashville

Lapels Dry Cleaning to open at 6019 Nolensville Pike in Nashville and 202 5th Avenue North in Franklin TN.

January 25, 2018 // Franchising.com // NASHVILLE, TN and HANOVER, MA - Lapels Dry Cleaning, an innovative, environmentally friendly dry-cleaning franchise headquartered in Hanover, Massachusetts, is scheduled to open a full-service, environmentally friendly dry-cleaning plant at 6019 Nolensville Pike, Nashville on February 24th.

“I’m extremely excited to be opening several locations that will offer a sustainable, non-toxic method for dry cleaning clothes in Nashville and the surrounding areas,” said Chris Cooley, the owner of Lapels Dry Cleaning of Nashville. “When we open our doors on February 24th, Lapels Dry Cleaning will become one of the only dry cleaners in town using a 100 percent environmentally non-toxic cleaning solution.”

Cooley, a Franklin resident, also has plans to open Lapels Dry Cleaning stores in Franklin (opening in March) and Bellevue (in April) of this year with other locations following soon after.

“As a financial consultant for 26 years and a private business owner for the last 18 of those years, I’ve spent a lot of time traveling. At the end of the day, I'm an entrepreneur at heart and I wanted to start a business where I could be a part of and participate in the local community,” said Cooley. “I also wanted to offer something different than my competitors and Lapels enables me to do so on a number of levels. In addition to a more upscale and welcoming environment, Lapels has an advantage that no other dry cleaner can match -- a non-toxic dry-cleaning process.

Adds Cooley, “We’ll also offer FREE Home Delivery, a 24 Hour Drop Off Service, VIP and other Loyalty Programs, electronic notifications when your items are ready and customer service that is second to none. No other cleaners are offering all of these services.”

Lapels has pioneered its eco-friendly dry-cleaning experience over the past 18 years. Part of that effort includes a partnership agreement with GreenEarth®, the dry-cleaning industry’s only non-toxic cleaning alternative. Hours at Lapels Dry Cleaning in Nashville will be Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm; Saturday 8 am to 5 pm; and Sunday, 12 pm to 3 pm.
