Award-winning Cafe To Open In Hollywood

The Restaurant Is One Of 12 Planned First Watch Openings In Partnership With Daytime Café, LLC

February 09, 2018 // Franchising.com // HOLLYWOOD, Florida - First Watch, the popular breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant with 14 locations in Southeast Florida, announced that it will open its new Hollywood restaurant on Monday, February 12. The new 3,500-square-foot eatery will open at 7 a.m. at 3256 Hollywood Blvd. and will employ about 25 people. In conjunction with the First Watch opening, Miami-based franchise group Daytime Café, LLC will donate all money raised from a pre-opening event to charity. Proceeds from the event at the company’s new Hollywood restaurant will be donated to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation is one of the region’s leading pediatric hospitals, offering a comprehensive scope of healthcare services and programs in a child-friendly atmosphere. It is a full-service hospital that treats minor illnesses, trauma-related accidents and some of the most complex medical conditions.

“First Watch has had a home in South Florida for more than a decade, and it’s wonderful to see the restaurant’s menu innovation and evolution during that time,” said Ricky Warman, owner of Daytime Café, LLC. “We are very excited to be opening First Watch in Hollywood, and to be able to support such a fantastic organization that helps families in our area as part of that opening means a lot.”

First Watch’s curated menu takes an elevated approach to traditional and innovative offerings made to order using farm fresh ingredients. It includes crave-able items such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The new restaurant offers healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola and pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables and cage-free eggs as well as more indulgent, traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings. First Watch in Hollywood will also offer options from the restaurant’s Fresh Juice Bar - including the best-selling Kale Tonic - juiced in-house daily using only the highest quality fruits and vegetables.

The new restaurant will open with First Watch’s latest interior design, which combines farm fresh elements with a high-energy, urban vibe.

Daytime Café, LLC currently owns and operates two First Watch restaurants as well as 32 Papa John’s restaurants in Southeast Florida.

First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
