TGA Continues Nationwide Expansion With New "Team Sports" Franchise In Phoenix, AZ

Leading Youth Program Offers Six New Sports Under One Platform

PHOENIX (PRWEB) MARCH 15, 2018 - TGA Premier Sports (TGA), a leading youth sports organization specializing in introductory and recreational programs, announces the launch of a new Team Sports franchise in Phoenix, AZ.

Burke Noonan, a former advertising sales and marketing executive, launched his first TGA youth sports franchise, Premier Golf, in 2017 to serve the East Phoenix communities of Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, and part of Southeast Phoenix.

Noonan's new TGA (Teach Grow Achieve) franchise will give students age 5-13 team sports opportunities through schools and community centers in: Cheerleading, Flag Football, Floor Hockey, Lacrosse, Ultimate (Frisbee), and Volleyball.

During his first year, Noonan experienced significant growth bringing golf programs to several school districts including Gilbert Public Schools, Higley Unified School District, Kyrene School District, Chandler Unified School District as well as multiple Charter Schools.

He feels the addition of offering more sports to students and families is a natural progression, "This is a great opportunity because the demand for introductory-level sports for young kids is very high in our area," he said. "We currently operate golf programs in 25 schools and we will add more than 50 teams sports programs in those schools along with partnering with more locations."

Adding these programs should more than double TGA participation in the East Valley, "In 2017, we had 500 kids go through our program, and in 2018 it should be around 1200," Noonan explained. "Over the next 3-5 years we anticipate 5,000-10,000 kids participating in TGA programs."

TGA Team Sports joins the already fast-growing TGA Golf and Tennis franchise businesses that are sweeping the nation and impacting youth, families, schools, community centers and golf and tennis facilities. Since 2007, over 775,000 youth have participated in TGA programs.

TGA Team Sports has aligned itself with the American Development Model (ADM), created by the U.S. Olympic Committee, which includes skill progression and physical fitness creating a pathway toward an active and healthy lifestyle. With its increased visibility, early sport specialization is fading and TGA is on the forefront of the movement to create an all-around athlete by offering a variety of introductory youth sport programs in one location.

Communities and families nationwide have embraced TGA youth sports programs not only because of its innovative station-based curriculum that combines athletics, academics and life-skills, but also because it provides a safe and healthy environment for kids to participate and have an unparalleled experience playing sports. Students also participate in interactive STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics) Labs that allow them to explore and relate concepts such as gravity, aerodynamics, and simple machines through the sports they are playing.

"By expanding our TGA offerings, we are giving more children a chance to participate in after-school enrichment programs and camps to develop their skills at a very young age and develop a passion for sports," said Noonan.
