First Watch To Open In Papillion

The daytime café is celebrating its fourth Omaha-area restaurant opening in seven months

April 25, 2018 // Franchising.com // OMAHA - First Watch Restaurants, the popular breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, announced that it will open the doors to its newest restaurant this Saturday, April 28. First Watch will open at 7 a.m. at 304 Olson Drive, in a space that formerly operated as The Egg & I, and it will employ about 25 people. The restaurant in Papillion will be the fifth First Watch restaurant opened by Cutchall Management Company, an Omaha-based franchise group.

“The success of First Watch in Omaha can be credited to our fantastic loyal customers who have shown so much support and appreciation for our unique approach to daytime dining,” said Greg Cutchall, owner of Cutchall Management Company. “Without their backing, we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to introduce the First Watch brand to so many new spots around Omaha, and we are so grateful.”

First Watch’s curated menu takes an elevated approach to traditional and innovative offerings made to order using farm fresh ingredients. It includes crave-able items such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The new restaurant offers healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola and pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables and cage-free eggs as well as more indulgent, traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings.

First Watch in Papillion will also serve the restaurant’s new Project Sunrise coffee, grown by an independent group of female farmers in Huila, Colombia, called Mujeres en Café. The restaurant will also offer options from its Juice Bar - including the best-selling Kale Tonic - juiced in-house daily using only the highest quality fruits and vegetables.

The new restaurant will open with First Watch’s latest interior design, which combines farm fresh elements with a high-energy, urban vibe.

First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
