First Watch To Open North Of The River

The award-winning daytime cafe will open Monday in Clarksville

May 31, 2018 // Franchising.com // LOUISVILLE - First Watch, the popular breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant with two locations in Louisville, announced that it will open its third area restaurant north of the river in Clarksville. The free-standing First Watch will open for business at 1205 Veterans Parkway in the Veterans Crossing development on Monday, June 4. The 4,200-square-foot eatery will employ about 25 people.

This new First Watch is the sixth First Watch restaurant that has opened in the Louisville and Lexington markets as part of an agreement with Kentucky-based Bluegrass FW, LLC. The group first opened First Watch in Lexington in September 2012 and is now continuing its expansion throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana.

“We’re always searching for dynamic new neighborhoods to open First Watch. Clarksville offers a great blend of new shopping, business and residential areas that we know will be a great fit for the brand,” said Gary Holland, owner of Bluegrass FW, LLC. “The Louisville community has been so supportive for the past three years since First Watch opened here, and it’s our honor to continue serving our fresh breakfast, brunch and lunch to the people in this great city.”

First Watch takes a unique, elevated approach to breakfast, brunch and lunch and offers made-to-order dishes using farm fresh ingredients. Its award-winning menu includes crave-able items such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The new restaurant offers healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola and pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables, cage-free eggs and 100% fresh-squeezed orange juice as well as more indulgent, traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings.

First Watch in Clarksville will also serve the restaurant’s new Project Sunrise coffee, grown by an independent group of female farmers in Huila, Colombia, called Mujeres en Café. The restaurant will also offer options from its Juice Bar - including the best-selling Kale Tonic - juiced in-house daily using only the highest quality fruits and vegetables.

The new restaurant will open with First Watch’s latest interior design, which combines farm fresh elements with a high-energy, urban vibe.

First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
