Located at 7690 Market Street, the new location is estimated to open late June and will be owned and operated by Oleg Adrianov The Pittsburgh-based franchise plans to open as many as 3 total locations throughout Youngstown and the surrounding area over the next several years.
“I am thrilled to bring The Dog Stop to Youngstown,” said Oleg Adrianov a former business owner. “The Dog Stop understands that dogs aren’t just pets, they’re valued members of the family. I’m excited to provide a one stop shop where pet owners will be able to take their dogs for daycare, grooming, exercise and to shop.”
Founded in 2009 by Chris Kane and Jesse Coslov, based on the mission to create a fun and safe environment where dogs would love to go and pet owners feel 100% confident in the care their dogs receive. The Dog Stop’s clean, safe, 100% climate controlled facilities feature premium boarding accommodations, social and interactive daycare experiences, spa-like grooming retreats, in-home services, and a retail store featuring premium dog food, treats, toys and accessories. Other features include separate and secure play areas for dogs of all sizes and energy levels, including outdoor space with special anti-microbial?turf "grass".
“Our facilities exist to promote healthy and happy dogs through socialization, physical and mental exercise and a holistic retail approach,” said Chris Kane, CEO of The Dog Stop. “Whether it’s running in our play yards, socializing with friends, or just lounging around, The Dog Stop is your one-stop shop for all of your pup’s wants and needs.”
Unlike many of its competitors, The Dog Stop charges a flat standard fee, no matter the breed or size of the dogs. However, for those owners who prefer a more tailored experience for their dogs, the “Dog Stop Delights Program” offers extra activities such as cuddle time, one-on-one play, leash walks, training sessions and puzzle time.
“The way Americans view their dogs today has definitely evolved from a time when Fido was relegated to the back yard, perhaps tethered to a chain. The majority of dog owners consider their furry friends to be a member of the family, resulting in a massive boom in spending on food, pet services and pet supplies,” said Jesse Coslov, COO of The Dog Stop. “
We’re excited to welcome Oleg to The Dog Stop family. He understands the growing need to keep our dogs healthy, give them lots of love and socialization, and do what's best for them.”
Today, there are 12 locations open and operating in five states, with more than 40 additional stores in various stages of development across the country.
