Nation’s Leading Mobile Screen Service Brings Convenient Home Improvement to La Cañada Flintridge, Burbank

June 13, 2018 // Franchising.com // LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE and BURBANK, Calif. - “America’s Neighborhood Screen Store” will now “steer” La Cañada Flintridge and Burbank in the right direction through affordable and convenient home improvement.

Screenmobile has launched two new Los Angeles-area locations in La Cañada Flintridge and Burbank. The brand has disrupted the screening industry by providing a cost-effective and convenient solution for an otherwise inconvenient home and business improvement experience. Residents of La Cañada Flintridge and Burbank (and the surrounding communities) will soon find out how easy home improvement can be.

“I’m thrilled to start a new career as a Screenmobile business owner and bring these convenient home services to my neighbors,” said Jaime Mejia, co-owner of both Screenmobile of La Cañada Flintridge and Burbank.

Mejia is opening both locations with friend and business partner Evan Grissom. Both Mejia and Grissom have strong backgrounds in sales and wanted to leverage their business savvy and customer-service expertise in their next venture as Screenmobile franchisees.

“After speaking with both the Screenmobile corporate team and several franchisees, I realized their family-friendly business model was exactly what I was looking for in a new career,” said Grissom, who has a young family and was looking to start his own business. “I mentioned the opportunity to Jaime and he loved the idea as well - we were ready to get started right away.”

Screenmobile’s success is rooted in its commitment to customer satisfaction. In a single visit, a Screenmobile representative arrives in uniform, then measures, manufactures, installs and tests the screens on-site. Afterwards, Screenmobile follows up with proactive communication to ensure the needs of the customer are met. This commitment to the customer resonated with Mejia and Grissom.

“We are excited to be expanding into La Cañada Flintridge and Burbank and look forward to driving business within these communities,” said Scott Walker, president and CEO of Screenmobile. “Jaime and Evan are the perfect franchisees to continue to help grow the brand throughout California.”

From its inception in 1980, Screenmobile has experienced steady growth year after year. Today, there are over 100 licenses across more than 29 states, with 10-15 additional locations in development throughout the country.

The Walker family, Monty M., Scott and Monty L., had a vision of starting a brand that capitalized on the opportunity to become the first mobile screening company. Over the years, Screenmobile has gained a loyal customer base. The brand stands apart from other screening companies due to its low overhead, quick ramp-up time and familial spirit.
