Fred Astaire Dance Studio Celebrates 10 Years in West Palm Beach, Florida

Studio Owners Welcome American Smooth Blackpool Champions Nick Cheremukhin and Viktorija to Highlight Anniversary Celebration

June 20, 2018 // Franchising.com // Fred Astaire Dance Studio, the most famous name in ballroom and Latin dance instruction, is celebrating 10 years in West Palm Beach. The studio opened its doors in May 2008 at its original location in on Military and Okeechobee before moving to the current location at 1900 Okeechobee Blvd., Suite A2, West Palm Beach, in March 2015.

To celebrate, studio owners Doreen Scheinpflug and Andreas Luetzner are hosting a 10th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, June 30, at 7 p.m. at their studio. The evening will feature cocktails, hors-d’oeuvres, social dancing and special performances by the current World Smooth Champions, Nick Cheremukhin and Viktorija.

“I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since we first came to West Palm Beach,” Scheinpflug said, “It seems like just yesterday we were opening our doors for the first time. This community has been so welcoming to us. We are very fortunate to call West Palm Beach our home.”

Over the last 10 years, Scheinpflug estimates the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of West Palm Beach has taught more than 50,000 lessons for thousands of ballroom dancing enthusiasts. They’ve also partnered with several local community organizations to raise funds and awareness in their community, including the Boys & Girls Club, American Cancer Society, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Admission to the 10th Anniversary Gala is free for all current students and $50 for the general public to attend. The $50 admission fee also includes a complimentary introductory private lesson.
