Rush Bowls Brings Healthy Eating to Tucson

July 10, 2018 // Franchising.com // BOULDER, Colo. - Rush Bowls - a fast-casual restaurant chain known for its meals-in-a-bowl crafted from the finest fruits and vegetables, topped with granola and honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients - is coming to Tucson.

Located at 1058 N Campbell Ave, the 1100 square foot store is slated to open late summer or early fall and will be the first of at least three Rush Bowls locations to be owned and operated by Brian Seay.

“I believe that eating healthy should be easy for everyone, and when I came across Rush Bowls I really resonated with the mission of providing quick health to all ages,” added Seay. “Rush Bowls has garnered a strong following in Colorado and beyond, and we are confident that it is a perfect fit for Tucson.”

Prior to Rush Bowls, Seay followed in his father’s footsteps and served in the military. He then went on to work in the hospitality and food industry where has held every position from a dish-washer to a General Manager and everything in-between. It wasn’t until after Seay retired that he found Rush Bowls and decided it was the perfect venture for him.

Founded in 2004, Rush Bowls offers meals crafted from all-natural fruit, topped with organic granola and honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients that taste delicious while promoting a healthy lifestyle. Customers can choose from over 40 signature bowls or all-natural smoothies made with fruit and vegetable bases, including acai, kale and avocado.

“Our number one priority is 100 percent all-natural nutrition, which makes Rush Bowls different from other grab-and-go concepts,” Founder Andrew Pudalov noted. “Rush Bowls’ meals are crafted from the finest fruits and vegetables, with fresh toppings like organic granola, hand-grinded peanut butter and jam made in-house to ensure the highest quality and taste for our customers across multiple day parts.”

Over the past 14 years, Rush Bowls has cultivated a loyal following with its menu specializing in healthy, all-natural, fruit-blended meals-in-a-bowl for those on the go. Bowls are also available in vegan, gluten-free, soy-free and dairy free options, and anything can be custom made to cater to any and all dietary needs.

According to Pudalov, the brand has over 65 Rush Bowls restaurants currently in various stages of development across 12 states with a variety of deals in the pipeline in major markets throughout the United States. Company plans call for having over 20 locations open by the end of 2018.
