Engel & Völkers Continues Strategic Growth in South Florida

Irving Padron acquires the rights to Engel & Völkers Sunny Isles Beach

MIAMI (PRWEB) August 01, 2018 - Engel & Völkers today announced its latest South Florida expansion as Irving Padron acquires the rights to Engel & Völkers Sunny Isles Beach. The real estate brokerage will be led by Padron, who has successfully owned and operated Engel & Völkers Miami Coral Gables since 2015. Padron and his team plan to open the new shop in late 2018.

“Irving epitomizes what it means to be part of Engel & Völkers and shares our vision for growth while maintaining the integrity of this truly special brand,” said Timo Khammash, Managing Partner of Engel & Völkers Florida, the global luxury brand’s Master License Partner. “He understands the brand’s global strength and unmatched service standards and has been a power player in the growth of Engel & Völkers in Miami and key surrounding markets.”

Under Padron’s leadership, Engel & Völkers Miami has accumulated over $500M in listings and retains 70 agents. In the last year alone, Padron has recruited some of the area’s top real estate professionals to the Engel & Völkers brand and has doubled sales. Padron brought on top-producing agent, Lourdes Alatriste from One Sotheby's International Realty as a partner, hired Alexandra Elfmont from Cervera Real Estate as Executive Vice President and acquired DASH, a Coral Gables based brokerage. The firm has been involved in several record-breaking transactions in 2018 as well.

Engel & Völkers previously operated in Sunny Isles Beach from 2008-2018.

“It has always been our goal to unify the presence in the South Florida market with the right partner,” said Khammash.

The new Engel & Völkers Sunny Isles Beach shop will join an existing network of nine shops in the greater Southeast Florida area in premier locations including Miami, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Wellington, Palm Beach, Jupiter, Stuart, and Melbourne.

“South Florida is known for its appeal to both local and international clients which makes it an ideal market for a global brand like Engel & Völkers,” said Padron. “Engel & Völkers attracts top level talent, not only in Florida, but in the Americas and around the world. People want to be part of our collaborative global culture and benefit from the unmatched tools and resources we provide. I look forward to growing our presence in Sunny Isles Beach and bringing the highest level of tailored, client service to those looking to buy or sell in the area.”

Known as a real estate thought leader, Padron and his team are actively involved in real estate technology events, most recently eMerge Americas and The Future of Real Estate Summit.

Engel & Völkers first expanded into the North American market in 2007, with Florida as its flagship Master License Partner. Engel & Völkers Florida has since operated from its regional headquarters, located in Naples and has consistently been the most successful region on the continent.

Engel & Völkers recently announced a global 9.2 percent increase of total commission revenues in the first half of 2018, bringing in 328.2 million euros. Engel & Völkers Florida leads that growth, up 36 percent from last year in the same six month period.

Engel & Völkers will continue its strategic growth in Florida with its sight set on expanding into premium markets including Palm Beach Gardens, Royal Palm Beach, Lake Worth, Boynton Beach, Deerfield Beach, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Weston, Pembroke Pines, and Hollywood Beach.

“It’s an exciting time to be part of Engel & Völkers,” added Oliver Tonn, Co-owner of Engel & Völkers Florida. “We’re aligning ourselves with talented professionals and superior technology; the near future will be quite exciting from a growth perspective.”
