Rush Bowls Opens at Mockingbird Station in Dallas

Dallas’ vibrant community welcomes health-conscious chain

August 02, 2018 // Franchising.com // GUNBARREL, Colo. - Rush Bowls is rushing into Dallas. The fast-casual restaurant chain known for its meals-in-a-bowl crafted from the finest fruit, topped with granola and honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients is opening its doors in Dallas proper on August 3.

Located at 5331 E. Mockingbird Lane in the Mockingbird Station, the 1,036 square-foot restaurant is owned and operated by husband and wife team Ted and Elizabeth Bachmeier. Elizabeth Bachmeier plans to serve as the primary owner. The couple also hopes to involve their children in the business.

“The Mockingbird Station is full of exciting restaurants and shops and has great visibility with the Dallas community. We are thrilled to be introducing Rush Bowls in this high caliber facility,” said Elizabeth Bachmeier. “There has been a demand for a vibrant and delicious healthy grab-and-go concept in Dallas. We look forward to the opportunity to connect with those in our local communities who, like us, are passionate about healthy and delicious food.”

Prior to teaming up with Rush Bowls, Ted Bachmeier, with a background in corporate retail, served as the Executive Vice President of Operations at Michael’s Corporation, a company he stayed with for 23 years. Elizabeth has been and remains a dedicated and active volunteer in the local community while staying home to support the couple’s blended family that includes Jessika, Jordan, Tyler and Kyle. Elizabeth’s passion lies in helping others, particularly in giving underprivileged kids emotional support and a second chance.

“I’ve always had a heart for volunteering and helping others, and when I saw Rush Bowls’ model, I knew it would provide me the opportunity to make our community healthier while offering employment opportunities to hard-working young adults who just need someone to believe in them,” Elizabeth Bachmeier said. “We believe that adults and kids alike will love Rush Bowls’ healthy, quick, grab-and-go atmosphere.”

Founded in 2004, Rush Bowls offers meals crafted from all-natural fruit, topped with organic granola and honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients that taste delicious while promoting a healthy lifestyle. Customers can choose from over 40 signature bowls or all-natural smoothies made with fruit and vegetable bases, including acai, kale and avocado.

Over the past 14 years, Rush Bowls has cultivated a loyal following with its menu specializing in healthy, all-natural, fruit-blended meals-in-a-bowl for those on the go. Bowls are also available in vegan, gluten-free, soy-free and dairy free options, and anything can be custom made to cater to any and all dietary needs.

“Rush Bowls is ecstatic for Ted and Elizabeth as they bring the brand to the Dallas community. I am confident they will make our first foray into Texas successful,” said Rush Bowls’ founder and CEO, Andrew Pudalov. “We are incredibly pleased with the following we have garnered in Colorado, Tennessee and Missouri, and are excited to see the same acclaim and recognition as we continue expanding throughout Texas and nationally.”

Pudalov added that the brand has over 70 Rush Bowls restaurants currently in various stages of development across 14 states with a variety of deals in the pipeline in major markets throughout the United States. Company plans call for having over 20 locations open by the end of 2018.
