Bojangles'® Franchisee Opens First St. Augustine Restaurant

Franchise group to celebrate opening with "Golden Tickets" for customers on Friday, Aug. 17

August 24, 2018 // Franchising.com // Charlotte, N.C. - On Friday, August 17, Bojangles' celebrated the opening of its new franchise location in St. Augustine, located on 2095 State Road 16, just off I-95. The store officially opened on Thursday, August 16, at 11 a.m.

Founded in 1977, Bojangles' is an icon of the South. Fans across the Southeast crave Bojangles' breakfast, which is always made from scratch and served all day, every day. The brand is also well- known for its one-of-a-kind tailgate and family meal offerings, featuring flavorful chicken; hot, fresh buttermilk biscuits; home-style fixin's (sides), sweet treats and much more.

Opening day festivities at the store will begin when doors open at 5 a.m. on August 17. Customers who arrive earlier could be celebrating with Bojangles' for an entire year.

• "Golden tickets" will be distributed at random to 10 customers lined up at the restaurant between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. (dine-in only; customers are not permitted to line up until 4 a.m.).
• Golden ticket holders will receive one free Bojangles' combo meal every day for an entire year.
• Additionally, on opening day, one golden ticket will be distributed each hour to a customer selected at random.
• The store team plans sampling, giveaways and other opening day festivities.

This is the first Bojangles' location for new franchisee Bo Scallions, LLC. Led by brothers Thad and Sage Joiner, the group has many years of experience in restaurant management and operations. They plan to bring multiple Bojangles' restaurants to the Jacksonville market in the next several years, including a new Jacksonville location in 2019.

"We make our biscuits from scratch every 20 minutes, and we marinate and bread our bone-in chicken by hand. You won't see us cutting corners at Bojangles'. Our team looks forward to enjoying breakfast, lunch and dinner with the great folks in St. Augustine for many years to come."

Bo Scallions, LLC employs approximately 50 full and part-time team members at the new restaurant. The location measures approximately 3,200 square feet and will seat approximately 60 guests. Hours of operation are from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.
