Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids Cuts Out the Competition in Southern Florida
With two stores in Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens, Cookie Cutters looks to make more children’s haircuts fun
September 11, 2018 // Franchising.com // Salt Lake City, Utah - Children’s haircuts are more fun than ever now that Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids is open in Southern Florida.
Local couple Alex and Katerina Kramarchuk own two salons in South Florida, located at 1695 W. Indiantown Rd. in Jupiter and 9920 Alt A1A in Palm Beach Gardens.
“As parents, we’ve experienced first-hand the anxiety associated with children’s haircuts and we are excited to own a business that makes the experience fun for kids and stress-free for parents,” said Katerina. “We are eager to introduce the Cookie Cutters brand to the communities in Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter, and look forward to helping the community discover how much fun a children’s haircut can actually be.”
Both certified public accountants for over 20 years each, Alex and Katerina are excited to own a business. Before Cookie Cutters, the duo worked as certified public accountants helping small businesses, then moved into the corporate finance world. In addition to operating Cookie Cutters, Alex serves as CEO of Future Foods company, while Katerina works with a Fortune 200 company. The couple plans to partner with numerous local charities, especially those that are focused on youth empowerment and work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Cookie Cutters offers an interactive haircut experience that both children and parents won’t soon forget. Upon entering the salon, children are welcomed by an in-store playground where they can climb and slide. Come time for the haircut, each station on the cutting floor is outfitted with unique fantasy chairs - from race cars to motorcycles, firetrucks to airplanes - as well as televisions for the kids to watch shows. With a balloon, lollipop and a smile at the end of each haircut, the Cookie Cutters experience is designed to keep children coming back again and again.
“Little ones can be terrified by the haircut experience - the loud buzz of clippers, the confinement in a chair, the orders from a stranger to sit still. Cookie Cutters has designed its approach to put children at ease,” Katerina added. “Nothing in the salon will be scary or intrusive for a child. Our goal is to provide all children, including those with special needs or sensory issues, with an enjoyable experience, pleasant memories and the desire to keep coming back.”
