Bluenose Yacht Sales Acquires SailTime Rhode Island

Fractional Boat Membership Leader Excited to Launch a New Partnership New England’s Jeanneau Dealer.

September 13, 2018 // // SailTime Group LLC, the world’s leading boat membership franchise, recently announced the sale of their Rhode Island franchise to Bluenose Yacht Sales, the largest Jeanneau yacht dealer in New England, headquartered in Newport, Rhode Island. The new base has their offices and marina at 39 Alexander RD, Portsmouth, RI 02871, adjacent to New England Boatworks.

Bluenose Yacht Sales represents Beneteau Group's Jeanneau and CNB Bordeaux 60, 66 and new CNB 76 S&S 30, Saffier Yachts, HH Catamarans, AND others. Opened in 2005, they have offices located in Newport, R.I., Portsmouth, RI, Boston, Noank, CT, Annapolis and Rockport, Maine. They have a new Jeanneau 349 in their SailTime Fleet for next season and expecting either a 389 or 419 to be purchased by a new buyer before 2019.

What is SailTime?

  • Boat ownership can be expensive, and the National Marine Manufacturers Association reports more than 70 percent of U.S. boat owners earning less than $100,000 a year.
  • With a fee that starts at only a few hundred dollars a month, SailTime members can conveniently schedule blocks of time online to enjoy a new model sail or powerboat without the commitment or expense of ownership. When finished, they turn the keys over to the SailTime team to clean up and maintain the boat.
  • Boat owners can make money by placing their sail or powerboat in the SailTime program allowing franchisees to sell blocks of time on their vessel.
