PrideStaff's "Superhero" Campaign Wins Genius Award for Outstanding Communications and Marketing in US Staffing Industry

September 17, 2018 // // PrideStaff, a national, franchised staffing organization, is pleased to announce that they won a 2018 American Staffing Association Genius Award for Direct Mail Campaign (Print) in the Staffing Firms With More Than $100 Million in Annual Sales class. This national awards program recognizes the most innovative communications and marketing campaigns among ASA member staffing, recruiting and workforce solutions companies.

Genius Award entries were judged on a numeric scale by a panel of communication experts. Each entry was assessed for its visual appeal, content and message, originality of approach, objectives achieved, and overall effectiveness. Achievements in individual categories were recognized with Grand Genius Awards, Genius Awards, and honorable mention distinctions.

PrideStaff's Award-Winning "Superhero" Campaign

True heroes come in all shapes and sizes. To succeed, employers need superhero employees working throughout their organizations and in many different roles. PrideStaff’s “Superhero” campaign provided hiring managers with a guide to recruiting superheroes for their organizations, while giving PrideStaff's sales representatives a structured and differentiated approach to land more appointments.

Designed to be engaging, fun and professional, each step of this eight-week, integrated print campaign targeted a different challenge plaguing hiring managers. From increasing production levels to improving morale, cutting employee turnover to leading innovation, each step offered the hiring manager superhero powers to "save the day" for their company.

PrideStaff sales representatives targeted key decision-makers within the proper accounts, and made in-person drop-offs each week, with the goal of scheduling a more thorough assessment meeting. Each weekly drop-off included: an introduction card; an in-depth article addressing a management or recruiting challenge today's hiring managers face; and a fun, conversation-starting ad-specialty item, such as a superhero figurine.

The campaign was extremely successful. During the first wave alone, twenty percent of campaign recipients agreed to an in-depth meeting. Of those prospects that agreed to a meeting, twenty percent placed an initial job order on the spot, each of which PrideStaff was able to fill.
