Pilates ProWorks Donates More Than 3,500 Diapers

Pilates Brand Supports Mothers, Children In Need with Nationwide Diaper Drive

October 12, 2018 // Franchising.com // SAN FRANCISCO - Pilates ProWorks, the boutique fitness studio concept known for its contemporary twist on traditional Pilates, announced today the donation of more than 3,500 diapers to help support mothers and children in need across the country.

Throughout August and September, Pilates ProWorks studios nationwide partnered with local diaper banks to help alleviate diaper disparity in their communities. Over the course of those two months, studios served as diaper donation sites for local residents, businesses and community members. The diapers collected will support multiple diaper banks across the United States, including: The Diaper Bank of Minnesota, Marin Foster Care Association, Help A Mother Out Mary’s Place, Cradles to Crayons Chicago and the Miami Diaper Bank.

“We are blown away with the response from our communities to our diaper drive,” said Taylor Carter, co-founder and president of Pilates ProWorks. “So many of our clients are parents who know firsthand the importance of clean diapers for happy and healthy babies. We are so thankful to everyone who contributed to making a difference in the lives of hundreds of mothers and children in the communities we serve.”

Pilates ProWorks’ diaper drive was part of a larger brand-wide initiative, “Restore Your Core,” which emphasized the importance of empowering mothers to practice self-care.

Founded in 2009 in San Francisco, Pilates ProWorks took the Bay Area by storm, quickly becoming the leading Pilates-based fitness concept in the area due to its alternative workouts and unlimited class membership offerings. Introducing Pilates to innovation, Pilates ProWorks offers a fresh approach to the traditional Pilates method, using the brand’s patented, custom-made reformer machine and contemporary teaching methods.
