Former gym owner starts a business focused on fixing fitness equipment

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (PRWEB) October 18, 2018 - Fitness Machine Technicians, specialists in the maintenance and repair of exercise equipment for gyms, corporations, hotels, and private residences, announced today it is expanding into the Greater Rochester area. The business will be lead by Fairport resident Fred Burghardt.

Burghardt is originally from Long Island, but has lived in the Rochester area for the past 25 years. He studied Business Administration at State University of New York at Albany and spent his career as area managers for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. In 2007, he opened a 24-hour gym franchise, which he operated for 11 years.

“As a former gym owner, I’ve experienced first-hand the frustrations when a piece of fitness equipment doesn’t work and I didn’t have a good solution for gym members whose workouts relied on the upkeep of the equipment. I’m excited to offer an answer to this all too common problem, ” said Burghardt.

Fitness Machine Technicians offers reliable service/repair and maintenance services on a variety of exercise equipment on a contract and non-contract basis. The company is based outside of Philadelphia and currently services Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, New York, North Carolina and Georgia.
