A Year of Beer for The Casual Pint in Rivergate (Charlotte, NC)

Charlotte, NC - November 01, 2018 - (PR.com) - For husband and wife Bruce and Theresa Allen, the doors to their passions opened for the first time November 2017. With the annual celebration marked Saturday, November 10th, The Casual Pint Rivergate looks back on the journey in its first year of business, community and family.

“Bruce has a serious love for craft beer and I like food even more than craft beer. We also enjoy spending time with our family and pets so we figured out how to bring it all together,” says Theresa. The first 365 days were more than either of them could have imagined.

The Casual Pint provides over 300 of the best craft beers you could ask for along with perfect pairings of food. There are plenty of board games for families to enjoy together and of course, two patios for your furry companions. A casual atmosphere that the community is excited to have.

Neighbors are happy to have a unique place that knows it’s beers, yet still focuses on the environment for its guests. “It’s an open, clean and inviting atmosphere with friendly and suds-knowledgeable folks behind the bar,” stated Cole Hadel. “This is a gem of a spot to hang out and boasts an unreal beer selection.”

Even with the love the community has for the place, the Allens know that’s only part of the equation. They’ve made sure to extend help to the neighborhood with a multitude of philanthropic activities while providing 49 jobs to locals.

The Pint has collaborated with the Safe Passage Domestic Violence Shelter, Hunter Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lily Pad Haven for Human Trafficking, Peas Parkas Coat Donation Center and many more. You will have to check out the Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Pairings plus the Puppies and Pints Adoption events for yourself.

Among other activities, keeping the neighborhood entertained is The Casual Pint Rivergate’s specialty. Guests look forward to trip giveaways (Vegas, Mexico, Wilmington, etc.), weekly trivia and karaoke, holiday parties and collaborations with breweries from all over the country.

Other events connect Bruce with his other passion as an MMA referee. UFC veteran Stephan Bonnar has dropped in to share a pint with fans and UFC Pay Per View events are a blast at the venue.?

On Saturday November 10th, The Casual Pint Rivergate will be celebrating its 1 year anniversary with events happening throughout the day. 50 Glass Growlers will be given away to the first 50 people in line. Live Music will be featured and other giveaways include a Kegerator and a San Diego Beer Vacation.

Bruce and Theresa can’t wait to add more stories to this journey with friends and neighbors.
