Sandwich chain partners with NCAA basketball teams for promotion

November 14, 2018 // Franchising.com // MILFORD, OHIO - Penn Station East Coast Subs, the fast-casual restaurant known for its grilled, made-to-order sub sandwiches, has partnered with 15 NCAA college basketball teams for its Fresh Squeezed Victory promotion for the 2018-19 basketball season. Customers can receive a free fresh-squeezed lemonade the day after any game their team wins by mentioning the promotion.

The schools included are Butler University, Bowling Green State University, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Cleveland State University, Duquesne University, Eastern Kentucky University, Purdue University Fort Wayne, Middle Tennessee State University, Missouri State University, Saint Louis University, University of Toledo, Virginia Commonwealth University, The University of Akron, Kent State University and North Carolina A&T State University.

“We’re excited to team up with Learfield, the Missouri Valley Conference, IMG and the MAC Tournament to sponsor these NCAA basketball teams for the 2018-2019 season,” said Craig Dunaway, president of Penn Station East Coast Subs. “This sponsorship is a fun way to reward fans with our signature fresh-squeezed lemonade when their team wins.”

The promotion is valid at more than 120 Penn Station restaurants in the television viewing area of the 15 participating basketball teams.

Cincinnati-based Penn Station East Coast Subs features grilled sub sandwiches – including the chain’s renowned Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwich – and cold deli sandwiches made to order with high-quality ingredients on hearth-baked bread. The menu also includes fresh-cut fries, hand-squeezed lemonade and chocolate chunk cookies baked daily in the restaurant. Penn Station offers eat-in dining, carry out and catering.
