Executive Care Set to Open First Ohio Office

Home health care company serves seniors, disabled and recovering individuals with first location in Avon Lake

November 28, 2018 // Franchising.com // HACKENSACK, N.J. - With an aging population that requires help with daily activities or with managing health, in-home care has become a popular solution. Looking to help manage the rising demand for such services, Executive Care, one of the nation’s leading providers of skilled home health care, is set to open its first office of Ohio in Avon Lake.

Slated to open early-December, the new business will be located at 32730 Walker Road in Avon Lake and will service the Cleveland metro area, including: Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Huron, Erie, Ashland and Holmes Counties. It is the first sister-duo office, Molly Foos and Sarah Reed, will open and operate.

“My sister and I grew up in this community. We have family members here and can see the need for this service. We share a passion in caring for others which led to our partnership with Executive Home Care, whose understanding of the critical role home care plays in the lives of millions of Americans has led it to become a leading home care provider,” said Molly Foos. “I truly believe in Executive Care’s mission, and I have faith that the business will bring an improved and personal level of care to the area, providing comfort and peace of mind for local families and loved ones.”

Prior to teaming up with Executive Care, Foos worked in the life and health insurance field. Before that, she was the Executive Director for a non-profit for the last several years. Reed was the Senior Advisor for a home health care agency and previously had a successful career in the social service field. Their uncle, James Schack has teamed up with the sisters to open up their family operated Executive Care.

Founded in 2004, Executive Care offers a variety of caregiving and skilled services to help families often overwhelmed with the responsibility of providing care to a loved one – all while ensuring the patient remains in the comfort of his or her own home. Services range from companionship and help with meal preparation and household chores to help with bathing, personal hygiene and personal care. Executive Care also serves individuals recovering from illness, injury or surgery.

To guarantee the highest quality, Executive Care requires all prospective caregivers to undergo an intensive pre-employment screening process, including a criminal background investigation, verification of references and an employment history check. All caregivers are insured, experienced and undergo skills tests and continuing education training. Care Coordinators closely supervise and monitor all staff, conducting periodic evaluation assessments.

“As Executive Care continues to increase our footprint from coast to coast, we are excited to enter Avon Lake and continue providing an alternative to a nursing home or other type of senior care facility,” said Todd Leonard, Vice President of Operations and Development at Executive Care. “We are pleased with the rapid growth we are experiencing, and know we will continue to have prosperous locations by partnering with people like Molly and Sarah, who truly have a passion for the industry”
