9Round Opens First South American Location in Argentina

Addition of Argentina to the kickboxing franchise network brings the total number of countries where 9Round is open and operating to 16.

December 04, 2018 // Franchising.com // GREENVILLE, S.C. - 9Round Franchising, LLC, continues to expand internationally with the recent grand opening of its first studio in Argentina, marking the brand’s official entrance into South America. Argentina is the 15th country outside of the U.S. where 9Round locations are now open and operating.

Argentina’s inaugural 9Round studio is located in the city of Buenos Aires, in Palermo. According to 9Round’s master franchise agreement with Argentina that was finalized in June of 2018, this studio is the first of 15 9Round studios scheduled to open in Argentina over the course of the next five years.

Additional countries where international franchise agreements have been finalized this year for future 9Round development include Oman, Singapore and Guatemala. Grand openings of the first locations in Singapore and Guatemala are expected to occur within a year.

Of the more than 750 9Round locations open and operating today, 107 of those are located outside of the U.S. and Canada. These international franchise locations are spread across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, India, Japan, Costa Rica, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and now Argentina.
