The new coworking location will start providing positive and healthy environments for solopreneurs, start-ups and larger corporations in Pasco, Hillsboro and Pinellas counties beginning on tentative opening August of.2019
Founded in 2015 in Houston to fulfill a vision of constructing a creative, energizing workspace, WorkLodge offers a variety of comprehensive workspace services such as:
- Private and virtual offices as well as coworking spaces and conference rooms.
- Space for teams from 1 to 100.
- Unique designs, featuring custom-made furniture, cul-de-sac hallway layouts and common areas, with purposeful intent behind every single piece.
WorkLodge of Tampa is the first location in Florida and will be owned and operated by local entrepreneurs Dan and Shantell McLean and Anthony Pergola, who were attracted to WorkLodge because of its premium and high-end workspaces and community feel, providing a sense of pride for its tenant business owners.
“I am thrilled to introduce WorkLodge to Tampa and invigorate our city’s working community,” said Dan McLean. “The brand’s wild success and rapid growth is a testament to the one-of-a-kind atmosphere, which has proven to appeal to companies worldwide. Whether it be our signature design, collaborative workspaces or all-inclusive amenities, WorkLodge is the perfect place for entrepreneurs and businesses to focus on building their dreams”.
Each WorkLodge is fully designed by Founder and CEO Mike Thakur and displays vibrant, colorful design elements layered on top of the brand’s signature “WorkLodge White” foundational canvas. Before moving to Houston 14 years ago from the United Kingdom, Thakur journeyed from work with a security company specializing in kidnapping for ransom and extortion. Because of the line of work, there was no central office, so Thakur sought shared office spaces. After finding only a few underwhelming, confining locations, he saw an opportunity for an energized workspace and immediately began to look for real estate in Houston to open his own.
“WorkLodge is thrilled to open our doors in Tampa and provide our spacious, shared workspaces with the community,” said Thakur. “As we continue to expand our presence nationally, we pride ourselves on providing entrepreneurs and companies with a holistic approach by removing the friction of facilities and growth. We are incredibly pleased with the following and recognition we’ve garnered so far from our loyal members and can’t wait to reach the same level of acclaim in Tampa.”
In addition to providing top-tier all-inclusive shared workspaces, WorkLodge launched The Gabriel Project with the noble cause of shining light on the unloved, overlooked and unwanted in society. The foundation funds programs focused around four worthy causes: building children’s homes, fighting human trafficking, feeding those in need and providing assistance to families and community members with dire, unavoidable needs. The Gabriel Project is fully funded by WorkLodge and its partnering businesses. To learn more, visit https://helpgabriel.org.
