Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spas Appoints Joe Brauer as Chief Technology Officer

Joe Brauer joins Hand & Stone as Chief Technology Officer and will oversee the development and execution of the Company’s long-term technology strategy and roadmap.

TREVOSE, PA. (PRWEB) February 01, 2019 - Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spas, the fastest growing spa concept in the country, announced today the addition of Joe Brauer as Chief Technology Officer. He will oversee the development and execution of the Company’s long-term technology strategy and roadmap, including the adoption of a new POS platform and customer management tools. The Company supports all technology requirements for over 400 franchised locations nationwide performing over three million consumer services annually. In addition, the new position will have responsibility for ongoing management of the Company’s website, networking, infrastructure, security and consumer privacy.

For the past thirteen years, Mr. Brauer was Vice President Applications Systems at the Bon-Ton Stores, a 267 unit big box retail chain with approximately $2.67 billion in sales in 2016. His most recent focus was in the areas of Ecommerce and omnichannel retail systems. He also lead consumer facing applications such as mobile ordering. Previous major implementations included CRM applications, POS and other cross functional projects.
