Worldwide Express - B.V. President Honored for Supply Chain Analytics and Consulting Initiative

President of Worldwide Express - B.V. is honored by SDC Executive Magazine as a 2019 Supply Chain "Pro to Know."

CHARLESTON, S.C. (PRWEB) February 25, 2019 - Worldwide Express - B.V., one of the largest operators of Worldwide Express franchises in the country, announced today that its President, Brian M. Tribble, has been named a 2019 Supply Chain “Pro to Know” by SDC Executive Magazine. Brian has been the firm’s President since 2005 and he is the architect of Worldwide Supply Chain Solutions®, the supply chain analytics and consulting initiative for which he is being honored:

“The Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives, and manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises, that are leading initiatives to help prepare their companies’ supply chains for the significant challenges of today’s business climate. This year’s list includes more than 200 individuals from software firms and service providers, consultancies or academia, who helped their supply chain clients or the supply chain community at large prepare to meet these challenges—and more than 40 Practitioner Pros, who do the same within their own companies.”

Worldwide Supply Chain Solutions® is a Worldwide Express business line offering supply chain analytics and consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses. Brian and his executive team launched it in November of 2016 with the intent of it complementing the firm’s third-party logistics offerings. It did that and more, spurring record growth and becoming a unique strategic advantage for the firm. Evidence of that advantage occurred immediately following the launch with record sales in 2017 and again in 2018. Growth is forecasted to be even stronger in 2019 as subsequent phases of the initiative are introduced to the market.

As successful as the launch has been, it required an extraordinary professional development effort to get it off the ground. Employees at the firm progress through two internal designation programs and must obtain an analytics endorsement before pursuing an industry-recognized certification. APICS is the dominant provider of external certifications and all managers obtain a specialization in data visualization using Tableau software.
